Sir Garfield Sobers

During the time of 1960-1990, West Indies cricket was at its best, and that is when this record was formed. On the day of August 31, 1968, Garfield Sobers was playing for Nottinghamshire by signing as a non-English player, which was also his first English Country Season.

In his first English county season, he smashed Glamorgan bowler Malcolm Nash and bested the earlier record of most runs in an over by hitting 6 consecutive sixes. This day was marked in history in golden words as this was the first time that a batsman smashed 6 sixes in an over.

Yuvraj Singh

Whenever we hear 6 balls, 6 sixes, the first name that comes to our mind is Yuvraj Singh. Maybe it is because of the intense argument between the Indian team and the England team or because it was the first time, we Indians have seen something like that on our television. It does not matter. This moment was the most memorable moment for any Indian cricket fan.

That day, Yuvraj Singh smashed Stuart Broad during the 2007 T-20 World Cup encounter. That day, Yuvraj Singh recorded the fastest fifty off only 12 balls.

Kieron Pollard

Kieron Pollard captained the West Indies in a match against Sri Lanka in 2021.The West Indies were under big trouble after Sir Lankan spinner Akila Dananjaya took Evin Lewis, Chris Gayle, and Nicholas Pooran in one row and took a hat-trick.

The West Indies skipper took the ball in his hands and smashed six sixes in a single over, becoming only the second player in T-20 history to do so.

Herschelle Gibbs

It was the time of the World Cup 2007 in the Netherlands South Africa was playing against the Netherlands, and that is when Herschelle Gibbs took on Van Bunge and smashed 6 sixes in 6 balls. That day, he wrote his name in history and remained the only person to do so in a 50-over game.
