Adam Zampa Gives The Reason For Leaving The IPL 2021 Season Midway

The spin bowler of the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Australian Cricket team, Adam Zampa, was one of three Australian players to leave the ongoing season of IPL 2021 mid-way. He cut this season short because of the mental health issue, and Zampa said that he wanted to give importance to mental health over money.

The 29-year-old spin bowler from the Aussie country said that the confluence factor didn’t allow him to continue in this IPL 2021 season, and so he withdrew his name from this cash-rich league tournament. He felt that the extra money is not worth affecting the mental health.

He said that withdrawing from the tournament like IPL halfway is equal to a financial sacrifice. But for him, it is mental health that comes first, then the money.

The COVID situation was also the reason for the withdrawal from the tournament mid-way, and he didn’t find any motivation to stay with RCB as he wasn’t part of the team.

Zampa faced the bio bubble fatigue issue. The chances of getting back home to Australia were also less as the Australian government has canceled the flights from India because of the rising COVID 19 in the country. That is why Zampa thought to return home mid-way from this season.

Adam Zampa, Kane Richardson, and Andrew Tye also left the IPL 2021 season mid-way. They also faced the bio bubble issues, and they also saw the news, which told the international flights from Australia to India had been canceled. Richardson played for RCB, and Tye played for RR in this season.

Many players from Australia are the players, coaches, and support staff members of different franchises. With that, many TV commentators have been struck here. The Australian government has suspended flights from India till 15th May 2021.

The league stages of the Indian Premier League 2021 season will end on 23rd May 2021, and then the playoffs stages will start from 25th May, which will go on till the finals of the IPL 2021 season, which will be played on 30th May 2021.
