After A long break given by this pandemic, PCB Decides to Resume Cricket in Their Country.

Accounting to the pandemic hitting the world, things have shut down abruptly sparing no one. Although in the past few months it has been a little relief for cricket, some matches have been played and more are awaited. 

A few days ago, Pakistan Cricket Board seemed to have announced that they will be restarting their cricket. The National High-Performance Centre (NHPC) is also to be resumed which is for the elite players. 

What Are Protocols Which PCB Have Decided to Instate? 

PCB has said that the resuming of cricket in Pakistan will have some restrictions and conditions to be strictly followed. The players being healthy and safe will be considered with priority. It was announced during the recommencement of NHPC that the players who are playing currently for Pakistan are the only ones who will firstly utilize the facilities. 

For the elite players who are soon to begin their games in September are to be provided full facilities in NHPC which is located at Lahore. 

The Medical department along with the Sports Science department of Pakistan has taken charge. To introduce the regulations that need to be followed in order to maintain and ensure a secure environment for all preparations.

It is told that everyone will be prohibited to spit anywhere during their net practices. All the players will have to compulsorily wear masks during their arrival. They will also undergo regular temperature and oxygen level checks frequently. 

Pakistan Cricket Board officials said that as the cricket is being resumed, the conditions and restrictions that are being put are very crucial for producing a secure environment which is safe by every possible means.

Is There Any Update Regarding What’s Next? 

Nadeem Khan who is the Director High Performance at Performance said that the conditions and protocols for the domestic cricket of Pakistan will also be released soon.

Nadeem made it very clear that all the rules and regulations must be followed by everyone involved, may it be the players or the organizers.

Pakistan Cricket Board will give their best at complying with all the security protocols. The situation today is undeniable and cannot be neglected by any means. Keeping a sport safe and secure all time is the priority.
