Ashok Dinda to represent Goa

Ashok Dinda who once represented India in 13 one-day internationals and 9 T20 internationals is all set to play his next domestic season of Ranji trophy with Goa.

‘Victim of politics’:

Calling himself a victim of politics, Dinda clarified last year that he won’t play for Bengal from next year. He was accused of having a poor relationship with the bowling coach Ranadeb Bose and was even accused of abusing him.

Has to show a good performance:

Dinda will look to perform nicely this season as he sat outside for the whole previous season and contribute to Goa’s upliftment as a team.

Even Goa would feel that this year they can make an impact in the trophy as they have a good speedster in form of Dinda and would further like to focus on their basics and improving their game.

The confirmation of Dinda joining the Goa Ranji team was given by Goa cricket association secretary Vijay Phadke. Dinda who has 420 first-class wickets to his name will hope that the COVID situation improves and he gets a chance to represent Goa as soon as possible.
