Australia’s tour of England still ‘up in the air’:?Mitchell Starc

Australia’s left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc stated that the England tour has not been finalized by the team management and discussing the tour is really challenging to us.

Australia has scheduled a tour with England. In September comprising the limited-overs of the three ODI’s as it is like T20’s.

Later Starc’s told that there is nothing that has been finalized about the match due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Mitchell also stated that this series is still held ‘up in the air’.

Also, the team management holds the meeting on August 6 to discuss the tour.

Where coach of Australia team Justin Langer advises that this tour will help to heal the cricket world in a contrasting manner.

Moreover, Starc’s comment that they are attending all types of meetings and see the potential challenges in this pandemic.

“It’s still very much up in the air which is the way of the world at the moment. It’s changing day by day. We’re having weekly meetings about the challenges of the tour and where this all sits,” cricket.com.au quoted Starc as saying.

But it’s up now to the Australian government and cricket team to decide to go for the series on the plane. That is ready to play the series Starc told. Also, the Australia cricket board delayed the Men’s T-20 series against South Africa which was playing in October in Queensland this year.

Townsville, Cairns, and Gold coast are places where cricket has the play on 4,6 and 9 October respectively. If we see a cricket point of view Australia is leading in a wicket-taker and the team is ready for facing the tough test match against England which they play for from home. In 2019 they thrashed in the group the same meeting in the semi-finals.

The ICC T20 World Cup also has already been postponed due to a coronavirus pandemic and rescheduled which take place in 2021 or 2022  year they agreed to delay the matches, Cricket Australia(CA) said it is the official statement.

All the fans now have to wait to see when the matches will happen until the new announcement from the Australia cricket team and other official statements for them. With the postponement of the series, both Australian and West Indies players can play in IPL 2020. Indian Premier League or (IPL) is played from September-19 to November-20 in the UAE.
