Dwayne Bravo turns 37: His records in T20 cricket

The Champion, or one of the greatest all-rounders in the history of limited overs, Dwayne Bravo, turned 37 the last Wednesday, that’s the 7th of October.

Bravo, the death-over specialist and hard hitter in down the order presently playing for the Chennai Super Kings delegation in UAE. He leads the all-rounder department and also helps the team when it loses early wickets.

Besides his all-around credits and effort on the ground, his vivacious atmosphere is a plus for any dressing room i.e. whether he is playing for CSK or for his national team.

Let us have a glance at why Bravo is listed as the best all-rounders in limited over T20 format.

Bravo’s Career Track

DJ Bravo is the highest wicket-taker all-rounders for West Indies in the T20 International format, even though he as a bowler has the highest number of wickets to his name. In 71 matches he holds a record of taking 59 wickets that’s the highest for any player from West Indies with an average of 27.11.

Moreover, as an all-rounder, he also has good records with the bat, scoring a good total of 1,151 runs at a strike rate of 116.49, which makes him a decent all-rounder in the T20 format.

If we talk about his entire T20 career then Bravo owns a total of 6,324 T20 runs in 467 matches at an average of 23.95, this total includes a total of 20 fifties. Talking about his records as a bowler he has 500+ wickets to his name including every T20 cricket.

Bravo The First man to complete 500 T20 wickets

Recently, Bravo made a new record to his name, after taking 500 wickets in T20 cricket, he became the first-ever cricketer to do so.

It’s his final reach, however, the track to reach this milestone also made him the first cricketer to reach 300 wickets in the year 2016, and 400 wickets in the year 2017.

It’s absolutely a record as the yorker specialist Lasith Malinga has 116 wickets less than the Champion with a total of 390 wickets.

Hope we would see some more cricket by the Champion as his graph isn’t looking to decrease. To know all cricket updates, just stay connected.
