EMIRATES CRICKET BOARD ANNOUNCES IT OWN IPL-STYLE T20 FRANCHISE LEAGUE

Just like India’s very own Indian Premier League, Emirates Cricket Board is also launching a T20 league to be held from December 2021 to January 2022. There will be a total of six teams in the league playing to win the trophy. The chairman of Emirates Cricket Board, Sheikh Nahayan announced the league and said that a lot of parties from around the world showed interest in the series

In 2018 also, The Emirates Cricket Board was planning to hold a cricket league were four of the IPL team Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals, and one more team was supposed to play but it was put on hold we don’t know why.

The general secretary of Emirates Cricket Board, Mubashir Ushmani is planning to finalize the stakeholders by the end of this month to start working on things of the tournament. He said that the salary paid to the players will be high so that high standards will be set. He also added that people will get to witness a high-class league in some of the best stadiums in the world.

Another board member of ECB, Tayeb Kamali was also very delighted with the new league to be launched. Talking about the cricket stadiums in UAE, there have been great improvements over the years as they have already conducted one of the biggest Indian League IPL in such a covid-19 situation. Though the dates and teams have not been officially confirmed by the organizers, we will keep informing you as soon as we get any updates related to the league.
