Everybody loved Harjit Singh, Malaysian cricket legend, dead at 70

2020 of mishaps:

2020 has been a year with a lot of tragedies and everyone would accept that this year has been much worse than anyone expected it to be. It all began in January when basketball’s favorite Kobe Bryant passed away and the whole world of sports was full of despair and sadness.

After that, we had a long break from sports and all the big events like Olympics, football’s European championship, etc. were all cancelled due to the lockdown imposed by various nations in different phases to fight the coronavirus.

After that sad news came for all the cricketing fans, the famous Australian commentator Dean Jones passed away in September. Dean had been a voice every cricket fan was hearing for the past decade and it was hard to see him go.

We also had MS Dhoni retire from all formats of international cricket on 15 August which was a very emotional moment for every Indian seeing a captain which won them everything leave.

Demise:

Now news has come from Malaysia which says the legend of sports in Malaysia Harjit Singh is no more. He breathed last at 11:45 pm on October 19 and had been undergoing heart surgery for the past 3 weeks.

Condolences were given by the crown prince of Johor, Tunku Sultan Ibrahim who had Dr. Harinder as his family doctor. He did a lot for the development of cricket in Malaysia and worked for the betterment of all the sports facilities there. Hence it was a sad moment for everyone in Malaysia to lose him.
