When you talk about test cricket and its achievements, playing 100 test matches is registered as a great milestone for any player in his career whether he is a bowler or batsman. India is blessed to have ten fabulous players who have played more than 100 test matches.

Though 300+ cricketers have presented India in whites about just 10 got the chance to take 

it to a milestone. 

Here is the list of those ten players who have achieved this feat:

Harbhajan Singh

He has played 103 test matches in his career which started in 1998 and ended in 2015. The great off-spinner has taken 417 wickets in his run with an average of 32.46 and has scored 2225 runs with the bat.

Virendra Sehwag

Former destructive opener Virendra Sehwag has also achieved this feat. He has been part of 104 test matches in his career started in 2001 and stayed till 2013. The batsman has scored 8586 runs with a fine average of 49.34 and also has scappled 40 wickets.

Sourav Ganguly

Former captain and left-handed batsman, Sourav Ganguly has represented India in whites in 113 matches. In his 13 years long career started in 1996 and lasted till 2008, the left-handed batsman managed to score 7212 runs at an average of 42.18. He has also taken 32 wickets.

Dilip Vengsarkar

A fine right-handed batsman Dilip Vengsarkar has represented India in 116 matches. Where he managed to score 6868 runs in his career started in 1976 and ended in 1992.

Sunil Gavaskar

India’s mighty legend Sunil Gavaskar has also reached this feat and there is no doubt in that. The legendary batsman has played 125 matches in his career started in 1971 and has scored a lot of runs included 10122 runs with an outbursting average of 51.12. He retired in 1987.

Kapil Dev

We can’t forget this legend named Kapil Dev. Former Captain and World Cup winner all-rounder has achieved this feat with 131 matches who started his career in 1978. The all-rounder has scored 5248 runs at an average of 31.05 and has also taken 434 wickets with an average of 29.65.

Anil Kumble

India’s legendary leg spinner, Anil Kumble is no more far away from this list with matches 132. The legendary spinner who started his career in 1990 has taken 619 wickets with an average of 29.65 and has also scored 2508 runs.

VVS Laxman

Another great player who represented India in whites in 134 matches is VVS Laxman. The right-handed great has made 8781 runs in his 17 years long career started in 1996. His average was 45.97 during this period.

Rahul Dravid

Remembered as ‘Wall Of India’, Rahul Dravid has played 164 matches in his 17 years career kicked off in 1996. He has scored 13288 runs with an outstanding average of 52.31.

Sachin Tendulkar

All-time legendary batsman and the God Of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar is not far away from this list and has a record of playing most test matches in the history of cricket. He has played 200 test matches and has scored tons of runs with 15921 in his bucket at an average of 53.79. He has also taken 46 wickets.
