Hussain only played 2 Tests and 14 ODI’s between 1996 and 1998. The player represented himself for a number of teams when he played First-Class Cricket.

The 44-year-old was involved in the ‘Toronto Incident’ where he and his colleague Inzamam Ul Haq who was the 12th man who provided a cricket bat before he attacked a member of the crowd.

Mohammad Hussain did not play much in his cricket career. Hussain retired from domestic cricket in the year 2009. The slow-left arm spinner was an all-rounder for the Pakistan cricket team. 

The player had made his Test debut on 24th October 1996 against Zimbabwe and he had made his ODI debut on 9th May 1997 against New Zealand. Hussain played his last Test on 1st October 1998 against Australia and his last ODI on 17th April 1998 against South Africa.
