HARBHAJAN SINGH REVEALS, HATTRICK IN THE MATCH VS STRONG AUSTRALIA GRANTED HIM SELF-CONFIDENCE

A famous Buddha quote goes like, “One who thinks he is able, he is able.” Ultimately if one has faith in oneself then no matter what comes in the way it is tackled and overcome. To have that type of assertiveness is the key to victory and success. However, it is not acquired by just reading or listening to motivational talks but by self-realization and experience.

One such experience is had by the beloved Bhajji, Harbhajan Singh, the veteran spinner who holds the record of most wickets by a spin bowler in a Test series and the youngest Indian Cricketer to reach 400 wickets and the life-changing one, first Indian to take three wickets in a row i.e. a hattrick in a test match.

Harbhajan Turns Over a New Leaf!

Harbhajan holds this as a turning point in his life when he took a hat-trick in the match against Australia in the Australia tour of India’s 2nd test match which took place at the Eden Garden, Kolkata from the 11th of March to the 15th of March 2001.

Australia had managed to score 252 runs for 4 wickets and unfortunately for Australia, it was the turbanator, Harbhajan Singh bowling, and to the amazement of the crowd, he took the first wicket of the famous batsman Ricky Ponting at 252-4 and then came Adam Gilchrist and guess what!

Bhajji was in form and compelled even Gilchrist to leave the field and then came to bat yet another best cricketer Shane Warne, you’ve figured it outright, Shane was also the one after Gilchrist who was sent back to the pavilion by Bhajju Pa, Shane was caught out and the former ones’ legs were caught by Harbhajan in front of the wicket and hence they were given out.

There is 100 % surety that you would love to see and relive the moment when Bhajji took a hattrick.

Here’s it for you,

Harbhajan stated that it was a very noteworthy and remarkable moment in his life. He gained a huge fanbase, a new identity, and recognizance and most importantly he felt that he can play with and against any other team because he had faced Team Australia and imparted an extraordinary and exceptional performance, he considered Australia a strong team and all thanks to that match, Harbhajan mustered up enough courage and self-belief. And most crucially people started counting on Bhajji and when someone does a thing not for himself but for others he is provided with their energy, expectations, and support too and so love and encouragement was given to Harbhajan.

In addition to this, Bhajji says he was not even attentive towards the wickets or hattrick he had taken and he just wanted to give his best, like it is said “Try to give your best not to be the best”.

Conclusion

Sometimes there comes a point in the lives of people where they need to be praised and to be shown faith in them and then stuff happens. Now, we can see how lucky Harbhajan and every player is who gets the support and cheering from the fans.

Till the next time, be connected with us and stay safe and sound.
