Shekhar Dhawan stated that I have not loose hope on test return. A veteran Shekhar Dhawan is 34 tests last played a test match in mid-2018 to represent India.

What so ever the opening batsman has not lost hope on making a return to the national team and is seeing at the upcoming chance to storyline his comeback. 

“As not being a part of the Test team but it doesn’t mean I have given up the aspirations of return” expressed by Dhawan on communication with TV shows. 

“At the moment I got the chance, for instance in the Ranji Trophy last year I did a century, and I had gotten the comeback in the one-day team. Moreover, if I get a chance then what’s wrong? Definitely.” quoted by as saying.
