Important for batsmen to be able to bowl: Suresh Raina

Suresh Raina is better known as one of the best middle order batsmen for India performing consistently and aggressively. Whenever the team was in trouble after losing quick wickets in the top order Suresh Raina stepped up, took the responsibility and led from the front to take the team over the line or provide a competitive total. Not only was he an amazing batsman but a very handy bowler for the team.

Dhoni made sure that he used this talent of Raina to the fullest and made him a regular off-spinner who took wickets at regular intervals and struck when the team needed him. His variations during the off-spin made it difficult for the batsmen to read him.
