IND v AUS 2020: Virat Kohli becomes first Indian captain to win T20I series in all SENA countries

India’s tour of Australia has been amazing to watch this time around. After losing the ODI series 2-1 India have performed perfectly in T20 and made a terrific comeback in the tour to take an assailable 2-0 lead in the T20 series and win another T20 series in Australia vs Australia. The star performers for team India have been Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal.

In the first T20, India were initially struggling with poor batting performance from the top order but Jadeja stepped in at the death and played a very important knock to help the team reach a total of 161 runs. This made sure that India went into the second innings with a strong total to fight. Indian bowlers made sure that India defended the total comfortably.

Pandya leads to victory:

In the second T20, India’s hero was Hardik Pandya who is probably the best finisher India has got after a long long time. India needed 14 off the last over and Hardik Pandya finished the match with 2 big hits and 2 balls to spare and gave India a 2-0 lead in the series.

Virat dominates SENA:

This makes Virat Kohli the first Indian captain to win a T20 series in all the SENA nations which stands for South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia. The team now looks well prepared for next year’s T20 World Cup in India and Rohit Sharma and Bumrah are yet to be included in the squad. Virat Kohli has boldly shut all his critics who were questioning his captaincy at the end of IPL.
