IPL 2020: DC vs RCB: R Ashwin Warns Finch Before He Does His ‘Mankad’ On Him

IPL 2020: Delhi Capitals have won the match against RCB by 59 runs. Credit not only goes to the batsmen of DC but also to the bowlers too.

It was during the second inning when RCB had to chase the total of 196 when R. Ashwin warned Aaron Finch for leaving his non-striker’s crease before bowling.

Ashwin had done the same thing last year when he represented Kings XI Punjab against Rajasthan Royals. The victim of his famous ‘Mankad’ was Jos Butler who was having an amazing season last year.

Ashwin made a comeback this year after he has recovered from his injury. Ashwin had missed a couple of games for Delhi Capitals before he played against RCB back on Monday. The bowler managed to take a wicket in his four-over spell and managed to give away 26 runs.

His warning had made the fans remember the 2019’s Mankad incident when he had run-out Jos Butler without any kind of warning. In DC’s previous match Ashwin thought that Aaron Finch was moving too far away from his non-striker’s end.

The 34-year-old spinner took to his official twitter account saying that it was the first and the final warning of 2020 regarding the dismissal.

As a fan of Ashwin, I think that the warning was pretty much hilarious as well as serious too because when it comes to “Mankad” nobody is better than Ashwin. So batsmen need to be careful.
