Lockie Ferguson out for up to six weeks with stress fracture!!

Sometimes an unexpected health issue destroys your whole planning and the New Zealand fast pacer Lockie Ferguson is going through the same condition.

So, welcome buddies and let’s figure out what happen to the world’s best pacer, Lockie Ferguson!

Ferguson’s injury came to light while playing recent T20I series against West Indies. He has been diagnosed with a partial stress fracture in lumbar spine and has been ruled out from the upcoming T20 series against Pakistan which begins in Auckland from 17th December!

New Zealand cricket board said that he’ll be recovered soon without surgery if he strictly rest and rehabilitate himself for about four to six weeks before returning to play.

After astonishing IPL stint in Dubai, he with his great pacing completed three match T20I series against West Indies but unfortunately due to facture he will miss the entire Super Smash season.

Coach Gary Stead is really feeling bad, he states that injuries are certainly part of the sport but get injuries at time when you are at the top of the game is literally disappointing.

Ferguson’s pacing technique is unimaginable and if it’s a white ball match then New Zealand team will surely need him. His tremendous bowling and great attitude towards game made him one of best white bowlers in the world.

Upcoming Series!

After the T20I series, New Zealand team will show their presence in three T20s and two Tests against Pakistan. 

But, the game isn’t over yet! After battling with Pakistan, NZ team face Australia at home in a T20 series consist of five fabulous matches which will begin in late February. In which Lockie will show his presence if cured!

Lastly, Black Caps host Bangladesh in a limited over series consists of three one-day internationals and three T20s which begins in March.
