In the last few days, the Coronavirus cases have been increased heavily and as a result, The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that there will not be any spectators allowed for the next three matches due to the increasing number of Covid-19 cases.

After the board made the announcement, a man has threatened the board that if they won’t stop the rest matches of the tournament, he will suicide. He has made a statement that he will put himself on file if the T20 series between England and India does not get canceled. After the man’s statement, the police have taken the matter into their concern and have started investigating the matter. The man called a police officer and told him that he will kill himself if the tournament does not get canceled.

In the first two matches of the tournament, there was a heavy crowd at the stadium who came to see the match. The Covid-19 scenario shifts the match dates and decided to play all the upcoming matches in a biosecure bubble and all the tickets will be refunded.

Though many of the people didn’t like the decision of the board whatever they have decided is for the best as if they allow more people at the stadium it might lead to an increase in the number of cases.
