Glenn Maxwell, The Big Show, is an Australian Cricketer who is playing Indian Premier League since 2014. At first, he was selected for the Kings XI Punjab team and played for Kings XI till 2017. In 2018 he decided to be in the Delhi Capitals (formerly Delhi Daredevils). To prepare for the World Cup, he did not play IPL in 2019. As of 2020, he batted and did bowling for his previous team Kings XI Punjab.

Unluckily, this year Maxi was not in form. Glenn scored only 108 runs from 13 matches and took only 3 wickets. This universe provides no certainty whether things will be the same for someone or not. No surprise that Maxwell did not do well, after all, he is a human being too. But it is a big deal for the team as it longs to win.

Meanwhile, former Indian Cricketer, Virendra Sehwag has held Maxwell as a ten-crore cheerleader as he did not perform well in the IPL. Sehwag is somewhat disappointed with Maxwell regarding his performance this year.

Gains and Losses are a Part and Parcel of the Life!

Glenn Maxwell welcomed the statements of Sehwag. He said that it is okay that Viru is straightforward about his dislike and according to Maxwell it is totally fine, he is allowed to say whatever he wants to.

There seems a paradox that Maxwell accepts the criticism and at the same time, he pays no heed and lets it go. Glenn says that he moves on and does not hold such things in his heart. Maxwell himself was too moved by his playing.

He expressed it on Twitter, it goes like,

The Maxi fanbase believes him and has his back and supports him by wishing that he plays more beautifully next time.

Side by side, Maxwell is reported to deal with some mental issues himself. He has uplifted himself from that and also talked about the help he delivered to the ones who needed it in the hard times of the pandemic.

In the upcoming India tour of Australia, it is not yet clear whether Maxi would play or not. The first match between India and Australia is on the 27th November 2020 and is One Day International which will be played in Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney.

So, what if Maxwell was not able to present the show, Sehwag seems to be pretty hard on Maxwell. Glenn might be back with a stronger and a changed batting style in the upcoming IPL. What do you think about it? Share your thoughts with us.
