MOHAMMAD AZHARUDDEEN FROM TEAM KERELA IS ONE OF HIS KIND, EXPANDS SPECTATORS’ PUPILS

If noticed, there are being played many cricket matches, series, championships, and leagues all around the world, acknowledging every security and safety step taken before the planning of these games. But one ongoing trophy in India has surfaced a player whose majestic and magnetic performance has enchanted and mesmerized every single person who has watched his captivating hits. The championship which we are talking about is Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Azharuddeen writes history with his bat!

The cricketer who is the center of attraction is Mohammed Azharuddeen, an opener from the team Kerala. Azharuddeen took the internet and hearts of fans of cricket by storm when he hit his century in just 37 balls in a match between Team Kerala and Team Mumbai on the 13th of January 2021. It looked like whenever the ball touched his bat, it went into anti-gravity mode. He struck 11 sixes and 9 fours, in just 20 balls he made his half-century. He is said to have made his century 3rd-fastest after Rishabh Pant, who made his in 32 balls and Rohit Sharma hit it in 35 balls.

One of the cricket greats, Virender Sehwag tweeted about the young lad, Mohammad Azharuddeen,

Team Kerala won the toss and chose to field and let the Mumbai Team set the target, and the Team Mumbai did so, it made 196 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 7 wickets. What a show then was delivered by Mohammad Azharuddeen after he opened, he played fearlessly, and it was like he had to finish some other more important job after the match so he helped his team reach beyond the target, at 201 in only 15.5 overs with 2 wickets. Everyone could see he must have felt like the king of the world when he hit a hundred.

You would not regret it if you go through this video and you would wish that you may have watched it before.

Proud Moment!

He has made his family, state, and the whole nation’s head high with pride. He hails from Thalangara, a locality in North Kerala where cricket is more popular and played than football. His name was Ajmal but then was changed by his cricket-loving brother after the name of the great cricketer Mohammad Azharuddeen.

Tinu Yohannan, Kerala Team Coach said that there were indeed anticipations from him but not of this extent with which he played in the match.

This kind of player does remind us a thing that if we choose our passion to be our career then nothing else than history is created and the love and charm with which he played can be witnessed by his radiating aura and infecting smile on his face.

What do you think whether he would be seen in Indian National or International Cricket Team?
