New Zealand’s Women Cricket Team Ends 13-Game Losing Streak Against Australia

The New Zealand women’s cricket team who have been losing to Australia ended a 13-game losing streak.

New Zealand won against Australia by five wickets in their third T20 match on Wednesday. Amelia Kerr proved herself to be the superstar of the match who gave her a magical spell of 2-18. 

Needing that most important 8 runs in the final over, Amelia belted Megan Schutt for consecutive boundaries to steer NZW to victory. 

Australia on the other hand had won the previous T20 games against the Kiwis. Both the teams are having their tour where now the T20’s are over and they will be seen playing the ODI’s next. 

The Australian team had remained unbeaten for the past seven T20 games that they have played and six ODI’s against the White Ferns.
