Pat Cummins expects a better performance from KKR

This IPL 2020 has been as uncertain as expected. Delhi Capitals, a team with no big international name nor any big signing, led by a young captain Shreyas Iyyer have been at the top of the table for most of this IPL tussling with MI for the top spot.

Royal challengers Bangalore have improved tremendously this year, as their batsmen are performing and bowlers are putting their efforts too.

Kolkata knight riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Chennai Super Kings are yet to find their form as the matches these teams have won have been mainly due to individual efforts and not team efforts. Kings XI Punjab’s game hasn’t been that bad, just the finishing hasn’t been good; therefore the results have not come.

What Cummins said?

KKR made a record signing for this year’s IPL in the form of Pat Cummins as a fast bowler and a good hitter in the lower order. KKR have won 4 and lost 4 of their 8 matches played so far. But the speedster thinks that they haven’t played their best cricket yet and they can play much better than this. He says that their complete game will blow the opposition out of the water.

Praises teammates:

He also praised his teammate Andre Russell for death over bowling and Dinesh Karthik for giving him the role to control the power plays. Now with DK stepping down from captaincy and Eoin Morgan taking up the responsibility, it might be a bit different and better game with the World Cup-winning captain.
