PM Modi Should Go And Request Dhoni To Play T20 World Cup: Shoaib Akhtar

Former captain of the Indian cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, said goodbye to his 17-year international cricket career on 15 August. After this, Team India is obviously going to miss him.

But in the meantime, former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar of the Pakistan cricket team has said something strange. He says that the Prime Minister of India should request Mahendra Singh Dhoni to play the T20 World Cup.

Dhoni could play the T20 World Cup.

After being away from international cricket for a year, MS Dhoni suddenly made a full stop on his cricket career on 15 August 2020. But now former Pakistan cricket team pacer Shoaib Akhtar believes that Mahi could play the upcoming T20 World Cup.

The Prime Minister should request Dhoni.

The T20 World Cup, to be played in Australia, was postponed to October-November. Now the next T20 World Cup will be played in 2021 hosting India and in 2022 hosting Australia. But Akhtar believes that Dhoni may return in the future at the request of PM Narendra Modi.

No one can say anything to the Prime Minister if he asks Dhoni to play the T20 World Cup, then he might play. Said Akhtar.

Dhoni should have got a Farewell match.

MS Dhoni surprised everyone by announcing his sudden retirement. Mahi was away from cricket for the last one year, so he could get a Farewell match when he told about his retirement beforehand.

But it has always been seen that MS has played cricket selflessly for India. In such a situation, he might not have wanted a Farewell match. But Akhtar believes MS should have got the Farewell match.
