RCB Becomes First IPL Franchise To Star A Hall Of Fame

Royal Challengers Bangalore, one of the most loved teams of fans in the Indian Premier League, has not captured the title even once.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore team has been playing since the very first season of the IPL, with one of the best players ever represented.

RCB Gave Place To Gayle-AB In Hall of Fame

Looking at the journey so far in this team, very big and great players like Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Kevin Pietersen, Virat Kohli have contributed for them. But none of them got a place in the Hall of Fame from RCB.

A new trend was started in the IPL by Royal Challengers Bangalore, in which the special trend of giving place to the players playing for themselves in the Hall of Fame, in which Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers were given place in it.

Gayle-AB React To The Inclusion

The Royal Challengers Bangalore team has also become the first franchise in the history of IPL to launch the Hall of Fame. RCB gave information about this by releasing the video on the official Twitter account on Wednesday.

One legendary player has played for RCB, but out of them he picked 2 players who have contributed tremendously to the RCB jersey over the years. He chose AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle in the Hall of Fame, although the selection of Virat Kohli is surprising.

AB de Villiers, who was associated during this program through video conferencing, said, “To be honest, I am very emotional. as you know. I am a bit out of cricket. Just watching you guys on TV gets me excited about the things that are going on in the season right now. I am sure it is going to be very special. Thanks to Virat and everyone associated with the franchise.”

Apart from this, Chris Gayle said that “I want to thank the RCB franchise. This team has been really special to me as well. It’s great to join a special club. I will always keep RCB close to my heart. I have shared special memories with some special players and coaches.”
