Some facts about Imran khan who turns 63

Imran Khan, current Pakistan’s prime minister turned 63 on 5th October 2020. He is one of the few persons to have tasted success in cricket and politics. He is the only captain to lead Pakistan to a World Cup win in 1992.

Most accurate bowler:

Born in Lahore in 1952, he played his first international cricket match at 18 against England in 1971. 

He was the captain of the Pakistani cricket team from 1982 to 1992. Being one of the greatest all-rounders of all times, he scored 3807 runs and took 362 wickets in test cricket and has his name registered in the ICC hall of fame. 

He was the only bowler in cricketing history to have never bowled a wide bowl and one of the five bowlers to have never bowled a no-ball.

Political life:

After 1992 he left cricket and came actively into activism and politics and in 1996 he founded Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf which handsomely won the 2018 general elections Imran Khan serves as the 22nd Prime minister of the country now.

As the PM he has addressed some critical issues such as the balance of payment crisis, an increase in renewable energy generation, initiating reforestation, and many others.
