T Natarajan reveals MS Dhoni’s golden advice he received in IPL 2020

T Natarajan, the Indian bowler has revealed secret advice that he received from the legend Mahindra Singh Dhoni last year. He said that Dhoni’s advice helped him improve his bowling and he even took Dhoni’s wicket too.

In the IPL match last season, Dhoni hit a six on Natarajan’s ball, then he took Dhoni’s wicket on the next ball. Though Natarajan didn’t celebrate and when he went back to the dressing room, Dhoni gave him some great advice on his game.

Dhoni praised the player and told him to keep trying as he will get better with time. He told him to use all the variations in his bowling in order to become more efficient in his game.


T Natarajan played for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the Indian Premier League last year. The player performed very well and he was one of the reasons the Sunrisers Hyderabad could reach to playoffs.

The player took 16 wickets in the last season for the team. Even skipper David Warner got impressed with his performance too.


After his outstanding performance in the IPL, The player got a chance to play as a net bowler for the team in the Australia tour but as some of the players from the playing line-up got injured, Natarajan got a chance to play in the team and he impressed the team their too. He performed great in the T20 series as well as in the test matches.

The player will be playing for the same team this season too. As Bhuvneshwar Kumar is there in the team along with him, it would be a big help for the team as well as for him too. Bhuvneshwar couldn’t play in the last season due to injury.

Natarajan added that his team players were very generous and always keep encouraging each other when they perform poorly. It’s very important to keep players motivated as bad performance makes them down.

Such gestures always keep a player confident and motivated all the time. The Indian Premier League’s first match will be played today at MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai.
