This SRH team needs Kane Williamson in their playing XI: Sanjay Manjrekar

In the first week of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League, the Sunrisers Hyderabad team lost both of the matches that they played against Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal

Challengers Bangalore respectively. Currently, the Hyderabad team is at the bottom of the points table which doesn’t happen usually.

In the first match against Kolkata Knight Riders, KKR scored 187 runs in the first innings and the Hyderabad team concluded at 177 on 5. In the second match too, the Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 149 runs and Sunrisers ended up on 143 runs with a loss of 9 wickets and an end of 20 overs.

After the matches, the player who got criticized was Sunrisers player Manish Pandey who scored 39 and 61 runs in both the matches, but he played so slow that overs ran out. Pandey should play more like a T20 not like playing in the test.

After watching both the matches, Sanjay Manjrekar, the former cricketer and current commentator has suggested the team have Kane Williamson in the team.

Williamson is a New Zealand player and has scored more than 1600 runs in 53 matches which make a very good average. In the IPL 2018, Williamson also won the Orange Cup for scoring the highest runs in the season. He scored 735 runs in the season.

Hyderabad will be playing against Mumbai Indians on Saturday in Chennai. Hopefully, they don’t lose the match the way they lost the previous two. Hyderabad is always one of the best performers in the IPL and reached the playoffs 6 times out of 8 in IPL history. Do you think Sunrisers Hyderabad will win the next match against Mumbai Indians, or they will maintain the losing streak?
