Tour of Australia: Indian Cricket Team Wears Special Kits to Keep COVID at Bay

The most awaited tour of India in Australia is all set to begin from 27 November. The players have already left India to complete the bio bubble of the Covid-19 restrictions. They have to complete 14-day quarantine before starting practice. 

The tour is set to begin with the initial T20 series on 27 November which will be followed by the ODI series which will end on 8 December.

 The players will then have a break of 10 days before the all-important Border Gavaskar trophy begins on 17 December with the first test at Adelaide. 

A total of 4 test matches will be played between the two teams. In the past this tour has never failed to impress the cricket fans. It is highly competitive and fans all around the world wait for this tour.

The precautions:

This time due to Covid-19 restrictions every little thing carries safety measures along with it. Team India got a new jacket which was created with special safety measures and every player was seen wearing masks while learning for Australia. BCCI tweeted the pic saying that it was time to start embracing the new normal and players now will have to learn to follow these safety measures.

Give their best in Australia: 

India will look to build upon the historic test series win last time in Australia and try to give their best on the field. Virat Kohli will be granted paternal leave after the first test match at Adelaide as he and his wife Anushka Sharma are expecting a child in January. So after Virat leaves Ajinkya Rahane will lead the test team against the Aussies.
