Women’s World Cup 2022: Last Chance For Mithali Raj And Jhulan Goswami

In the Men’s World Cup, Indian cricketers have won three titles in 20, 50, and 60 overs. But the World Cup is not yet in the hands of Indian women cricketers. On Friday, the Women’s World Cup kicks off in New Zealand, with the Indian women’s cricket team led by Mitali Raj set to win the cup.

And for the time being, this cup battle of women cricketers is in full swing. Mitali Raj’s last chance to win the World Cup before retiring. On the other hand, England’s Heather Knight would like to keep her own country’s cup she won in the previous World Cup. And the goal of Australian Meg Lanning is to give the country the World Cup for the seventh time. This time the cup battle is starting with such goals of women cricketers.

The last time this competition was held was in 2016 in England. England became the champions by defeating India by nine wickets on home soil. Last year, the competition was held in eight countries from February 7 to March 8. But in the end, the tournament was delayed due to overcrowding. The first ball of the World Cup will finally be rolled on Friday.

Women’s World Cup 2022

New Zealand will face West Indies in that match from 6.30 am Indian time. The tournament was held in New Zealand twice in 2000. New Zealand won the cup at home that time. Bangladesh will face South Africa in the first match on Saturday. Six-time champions Australia face four-time champions England. Mithali Raj’s India will play the first match on Sunday. In that match, their opponent is Pakistan.

It is a relief for the cricketers that the six venues are in New Zealand. There are no strict biological protection zones. Instead, there will be a strictly controlled environment to prevent corona infection. DRSO is on the playground. Eight teams will play against each other at the league level. After that, the first four teams will be in the semifinals.

The Indian team had earlier reached the final in 2005 but lost. So the Goswamis are ready to return home with the cup. Many experts are putting Australia ahead in the race to win the cup in this competition. Besides, last year’s runners-up India is also being considered favorites in the expert discussions.

This is the final World Cup for two team members, Mithali and Jhulan. On their day, they can take the match bar alone. These two Indians are set to play a memorable match in the last World Cup of their lives.

  2. I recently tried CBD gummies on the side of cbd gummies with thc the first days and they exceeded my expectations. The taste was ravishing, and helped me unwind and relax. My concern noticeably decreased, and I felt a feel something in one’s bones of overall well-being. These gummies are any more a main in my self-care routine. Enthusiastically suggest for a spontaneous and soft experience.
