The 14th season of the Indian Premier League is all set to start with its first match to be played on 9th April. All the players are preparing for the tournament with their respective team members. Every season, the player with the highest runs gets Orange Cap. There have been a lot of players to achieve the Cap. This year also, there will be someone to get it. However, we have listed five potential players who have high chances of getting the Orange Cup this season.

FIVE PLAYERS WHO MIGHT GET ORANGE CUP THIS SEASON

David Warner – The first potential batsman to get the Orange Cup is the Australian star, David Warner. Warner has shown a great performance in the last season of the Indian Premier League which was played in UAE and might show the same in this season too. Rishabh Pant – The power-packed performer Rishabh Pant is in complete form this year. The player has already scored more than 500 runs in 10 innings in 2021. Though his overall score was not great in the last season, this year he is in complete form and might take the Orange Cap home.

Virat Kohli – one of the most aggressive batsmen of the Indian Cricket team, Virat Kohli is the strongest contender of Orange Cap. He scored 466 runs last season which was not his best. The player is so far the highest scorer in IPL overall with more than 5500 runs where he hit 5 centuries and 39 half-centuries.
