BCCI INSTRUCTS MEETING ATTENDEES FOR RT-PCR TEST FOR AGM AT AHMEDABAD

The BCCI’s Annual General Meeting is going to be held at the World’s largest stadium, Motera Stadium on the 24th of December 2020. As there will be a number of attendants, Jay Shah, the secretary of BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) has informed every member of the meeting through an email that on each of the person would be conducted an RT-PCR test for the sake of security of all the meeting members.

BCCI Secretary, Jay Shah makes the members aware of Tests

Jay Shah starts by writing that the Annual BCCI meeting will take place at the Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad, and adds that as the readers are known of the prevailing conditions in the world caused by the Covid-19, acknowledging this, the medical representative and team of BCCI has decided to examine every single comer to the meeting with RT-PCR (Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction) test. Jay thanks everyone for the support and faith they’ve been showing to the BCCI and with the gathering, he is quite confident that they would make cricket more safe and secure in India.

This meeting holds some good news for the fans of the IPL (Indian Premier League) too because there will be going a discussion on the introduction of two brand new IPL teams as the country India is full of raw and ripe talent in terms of cricket.

Alongside the Vice President of BCCI will also be re-elected. Meanwhile, Rajiv Shukla is a name that is hovering in the guesses in the minds of people for this post as Rajiv is the director of UPCA (Uttar Pradesh Cricket Affiliation) for 15 years from 2005. And the re-appointment of two officials of the General Body for the Governing Council of IPL.

Selection of Umpires committee, Ombudsman and Ethics Officer, Auditors of the year 2019-20, Cricket Committees, and Standing Committees is going to be done in the meeting as well.

Conclusion

With the election of these posts, many remaining posts and reforms are to be done and to be chosen. It is how it goes, for the players and cricket in India, we can say that BCCI is the backbone for cricket in India. Like they have to keep records of so many formal things and along with that take care of the players of the country’s team too. The conduction of tests was understood and intuitive but now so that BCCI has made it an official declaration the attendants of the meeting will have a prepared mindset for the AGM.

Till the following times, we request you to stay safe and to be connected with us!
