The seventh match of IPL will be played between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. This match will start at 7:30 pm Indian time.
In the 15th season of IPL, both the teams have played one match each. Both the teams had to face defeat in their first match. KL Rahul-led Lucknow SuperGiants felt the bitterness of defeat against Gujarat Titans while Chennai Super Kings suffered a loss at the hands of Kolkata.
Meanwhile, a star all-rounder has returned to Chennai’s team. So, with which playing 11 can the Ravindra Jadeja-led Chennai Super Kings ( LSG vs CSK ) go against Lucknow? Let’s know.
Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway Will Open
Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway will open the innings against Lucknow. However, both these openers did not show much performance in the first match against Kolkata. Gaikwad was dismissed for zero while Conway scored only 3 runs in 8 balls. But Ravindra Jadeja will be hoping for a good start against Lucknow.
Dangerous Middle Order With Moeen Ali, Robin Uthappa and Ambati Rayudu
Chennai Super Kings star all-rounder Moeen Ali has now returned to the team. He could not play the first match against Kolkata. But now he can be seen batting at number three against Lucknow (LSG vs CSK) in the middle order.
Apart from them, Robin Uthappa and Ambati Rayudu will be in charge of batting in the middle order. Although both these batting performances against Kolkata were fine against Lucknow, the team will be expecting more from them.
Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo Are Next
As all-rounders for Chennai, the captain of the first team Ravindra Jadeja is the best choice. Apart from captaincy, he can also show amazing with bat and ball. At the same time, MS Dhoni is the world’s best match finisher with Chennai. Dhoni played a brilliant half-century against Kolkata.
Therefore, he can attack the bowlers of Lucknow too fiercely. Apart from this, Caribbean star Dwayne Bravo is present in the team. Bravo took three important wickets in the first match against Kolkata. In such a situation, Jadeja will have high hopes for him.
Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Adam Milne,and Tushar Deshpande Will Attack From The Bowling End
Like the first match, Chennai can include a young bowler in the playing 11 against Lucknow ( LSG vs CSK ). Actually, the team has young fast bowler Rajvardhan Hangargekar. He has performed brilliantly during his Under-19 stint with Team India.
The 19-year-old bowler can contribute to the team with both bat and ball. Apart from these, Adam Milne and Tushar Deshpande are present. At the same time, the responsibility of the bowling spin will be with Ravindra Jadeja and Moeen Ali.
