Chahal played 113 international matches for RCB and took 139 wickets. Even after this performance, RCB’s negligence hurt Chahal. In the mega auction of IPL 2022, Rajasthan Royals bought this leg-spinner for Rs 7.5 crore.

Joining the Rajasthan Royals is a kind of homecoming for Chahal. He was with this team in 2010. However, he did not get a chance to play a single match for Rajasthan. “I am very excited to be joining the Rajasthan Royals,” he said. “In 2010, I was with the Rajasthan Royals.
