Chahal Speaks On Leaving RCB And Playing With Ashwin, Shocking Revelation!

He got his first opportunity in the IPL in 2010. But RCB bought him in 2014. From then on, he started getting regular chances in the first XI of Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Yuzvendra Chahal has played for RCB for eight consecutive years. But this time RCB did not keep him in the team. Didn’t buy at auction. Before the new team came down for Rajasthan Royals, Chahal expressed his anger against the old team. The Bangalore franchise did not speak.

Leg spinner Yuzbendra Chahal will play for Rajasthan Royals in this season of IPL 2022. Because before the mega auction, his old franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore did not hold him. Chahal has been a part of RCB for the last 8 years. Even then the RCB did not hold him. For IPL 2022, they have retained Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and Mohammad Siraj, but released Chahal.

It was also reported that he had a dispute with the team management over money. Finally, Chahal spoke openly about it. He said in an interview that the RCB had promised to buy him at auction. But RCB did not bid. His old franchise did not even contact him before the auction.

In a recent interview, Chahal said, “I never thought I would play for another team. MC Hesson of RCB called me and said, listen, Yuji, there are three retentions. He didn’t ask me if I wanted to hold on or if the team wanted to hold me. He told me they can hold only three and I was told, ‘We will buy you at auction. I was not asked about the money or received any offer from the team management. But I will always be grateful to the fans of my Bangalore team. I love them very much. “

Chahal played 113 international matches for RCB and took 139 wickets. Even after this performance, RCB’s negligence hurt Chahal. In the mega auction of IPL 2022, Rajasthan Royals bought this leg-spinner for Rs 7.5 crore.

Joining the Rajasthan Royals is a kind of homecoming for Chahal. He was with this team in 2010. However, he did not get a chance to play a single match for Rajasthan. “I am very excited to be joining the Rajasthan Royals,” he said. In 2010, I was with the Rajasthan Royals. I was in the squad, but could not get a place on the main team. After a long time, more than 10 years, I am back to where I started. I am very happy and excited to be part of the team again. I am looking forward to bowling with Ashwin.”
