Gujarat Titans played a push before the start of IPL. The new franchise had Jason Roy in the auction with high hopes. It cost two crore rupees to get the England batsman into the team. But Jason has now withdrawn from the competition.

Jason has recently become the father of a second child. He said he wanted to give time to his family. He will have to leave his family for more than two months to play in the IPL. But this is not the first time. Earlier, in 2020, Delhi Capitals bought him for Rs 1.5 crore. He also withdrew before the start of the tournament.

The camp of the new team, Gujarat Titans, will probably sit in Ahmedabad this time. However, his date has not been announced yet. The camp will start as soon as the cricketers leave. Hardik Pandya, the team captain, has begun preparations long before him.

At the moment, Hardik is preparing with three other cricketers, Abhinav Manohar, Darshan Nalkande, and Varun Aaron. With the team coach Ashish Nehra.
