India vs Sri Lanka 1st Test: The Clash For Number 5?

The first Test between India and Sri Lanka will be unique in many ways. The young cricketer of the Indian team Shreyas Iyer is currently in form. He has scored fifty in the third and final match of the IND vs SL T20 series against Sri Lanka. Shreyas Iyer scored an unbeaten 73 runs.

He also hit fifty in the first and second matches of the series. In the first match, Shreyas Iyer hit 57 off 28 balls. His batting helped the Indian team reach 199 runs. In the second match, he scored 74 off 44 balls.

Chasing 146 for victory, the Indian team did not start well. Captain Rohit Sharma, who was in the opening with Sanju Samson, was dismissed for just five runs. However, Shreyas Aiyar, who came down to bat after that, batted brilliantly and scored a half-century in this match.
