Natarajan Jumps In The Top 5 Of Purple Cap

So far in IPL 2022, Rajasthan Royals bowler Yuzvendra Chahal is leading the race for the Purple Cap with the most wickets. Chahal has taken 19 wickets this season while bowling brilliantly. After the doubleheader match played on Sunday, a significant change has been seen in this list.

Bowling for Delhi Capitals in the first match of the double-header match, Kuldeep Yadav did not manage to take a single wicket today, but still, he remains at the second position in this list.

Sunrisers Hyderabad may have lost the match in the second match played on Sunday, but T Natarajan took two wickets against CSK in this match, after which he has jumped from fifth to third place in the list of Purple Cap. Due to his coming in the top-3, the remaining two bowlers i.e. Vanindu Hasaranga have lost one place and Umran Malik has lost two places.

At the same time, Kuldeep Yadav of Delhi Capitals has come second with 17 wickets and Sunrisers Hyderabad bowler T Natarajan has come third with 17 wickets in 9 matches. Kuldeep and Natarajan can now have a close fight to get ahead. Vanindu Hasranga has lost a place and now he has come in fourth place with 15 wickets in 10 matches.

Umran Malik has now come to the fifth position. In the match played against CSK on Sunday, he could not manage to take a single wicket, due to which he has now come in fifth place. Malik has so far taken 15 wickets in 9 matches so far.
