Anil Kumble Named Two Underrated Players Of The IPL

Former Indian Test Captain and Indian Coach Anil Kumble named two IPL  underrated Indian International Stars.

IPL 2023 is going to begin on March 31 with the defending champions Gujrat Titans taking on Chennai Super Kings at Ahmedabad. All eyes are on Hardik Pandya who is going to lead and defend the title that they won last year.

Fans are waiting for this IPL and would like to experience the live action of IPL, which is going to start very soon.

The IPL 2023 ended with some huge deals where the franchises spent a lot of money to buy the best players in the world. Sam Curran got the best deal from Kings Eleven Punjab at the highest price of ₹18.5 crore.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians emptied their purse by spending a huge amount on Cameron Green, which is ₹17.5 crore. While CSK bought Ben Stokes at ₹16.25 crore.

Anil Kumble named two underrated players of the IPL

Since the inception of IPL, we have already seen big deals and it will continue for the upcoming years. Many international and local players got the best deal in the IPL while many players didn’t get the praise that they deserve in their careers.

Those players who don’t get the praise come under the list of underrated players. While some players have lost their popularity because of not performing up to expectations in the IPL. That’s why when Anil Kumble was asked about the underrated players of the IPL, he named two players.

Anil Kumble said on Jio Cinema, “Well, that’s a tough one but I would like to add Mayank Agrawal to this list and think that he is the most underrated player of the IPL. Now if I talk about bowling perspective then he is the player who doesn’t get much credit. He has done a great job, no matter which team he is playing for. The name of that player is Yuzvendra Chahal.”

“Well, this Indian batting sensation was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad at ₹8.25 crore. He is going to become a vital cog in this IPL. Since his debut in 2011, he has scored a total number of 2327 runs in 113 matches. Meanwhile, Chahal has also done a great job during the past years.”

Rajasthan Royals bought Yuzvendra Chahal ahead of IPL 2022 and Rajasthan also reached the final of the season. Unfortunately, Hardik Pandya led the team on the front foot and brought his team a majestic title. He will hope to challenge himself once again this year for the title with Sanju Samson.

Anil Kumble wants both these players to give more value just as other players. Since the inception of the IPL, both of these players have done very well for their franchises and will continue to perform in the team they are going to play. For now, we have to get ready for the live action of IPL 2023 which is going to start very soon.
