NZ vs SCO 2nd T20 I Yesterday Match Result, Highlights: Mark Chapman And Michael Bracewell Empower NZ To Defeat SCO By 102 Runs, Sealing a 2-0 Series Triumph

In order to win the series 2-0, New Zealand crushed Scotland by 102 runs on Friday in Edinburgh, posting their best Twenty20 international total of 254.

Test world champions New Zealand, who had just defeated Scotland, a team in the top-tier of competing nations, by 68 runs two days prior, once again proved to be too much for their hosts.

On Friday, Mark Chapman and Michael Bracewell each scored 83 and 61 not out, respectively, for totals of 254-5, which was career highs at this level.

Seven sixes were a part of Chapman’s 44-ball innings, the first of which got him off the ground, whereas Bracewell needed to bat 25 balls to score his runs.

Since it was the 28-year-old Chapman’s first professional outing since mid-April, his innings was all the more impressive.

In the end, Scotland did well to avoid getting bowled out as they finished on 152-9, despite the fact that they never appeared to be chasing down a sizable mark.

The highest scorer was Chris Greaves, who scored 37, while spinner Michael Rippon scored 2-37 and all-rounder James Neesham of New Zealand claimed two wickets in an over.
