PAKISTAN BLITZ SOUTH AFRICA WITH THE NEW BALL TO CLAIM SECOND TEST AND SERIES

Pakistan won the first series against South Africa after 18 years as they defeated South Africa by 95 runs. The test match was played on Monday.

The star of the show from the team Pakistan was Hasan Ali who took five wickets in the match and led the team to the win. Hasan took five wickets and giving 60 runs, the South African team got all out on 274 runs. Before the last test, it was in 2003 when the Pakistan team defeated South Africa at home by 1-0.

ABOUT THE MATCH

Talking about the match, Aiden Markram from team South Africa hit 108 runs while Temba Bavima scored 61 runs after which Hasan took their wickets. After the century by Markram and 61 runs by Temba, the South Africa team was hoping to win the match as it was 370 runs out of which 169 was already made by two of the South African players, but unfortunately, things did not work out the way they expected. Hasan took three more wickets resulting in South Africa lose 7 wickets and making just 33 runs after the first break.

Another Pakistani Player Shaheen Afridi took four wickets and the last one was taken by the Pakistani leg spinner Yasir Shah who bowled out Wiaan Mulder. The highest scorer from the South Africa team was Markram who hit 108 runs with 13 fours and three sixes. If Hasan Ali wasn’t there, things might have been different for the Africans.

After the win against South Africa, team Pakistan has ranked at No. 5 on International Cricket Council’s Test Ranking where the South Africa team was slipped to No. 6 as they lost against Pakistan.
