PBKS Vs RCB Match Preview: Head To Head In IPL

On the 27th of March IPL is going to be played between PBKS and RCB. This match will be played at Mohali and the match will start at 3:30 pm. PBKS has performed really very well in this IPL and they would like to keep things running. 

While RCB lost their last match against CSK, they would like to make a strong comeback and would like to win this match at any cost. It will be an interesting match that we will see at Mohali. 

This year, both teams have played two matches against each other whereas Punjab Kings have dominated in both matches. In the first match, Punjab batted first and made a massive score of 206 runs in 20 overs. RCB was nowhere in this match and collapsed on the score of just 109 runs.  In the second match, RCB batted first and scored 171 runs in 20 overs. Punjab chased this target on the last ball of the match and won that match by 8 wickets. 

Two matches were played this season and both teams won 1-1 matches simultaneously.  In the first match, PBKS batted first and scored 179 runs in 20 overs. RCB could score only 145 runs and lost the match by 34 runs.  In the second match, RCB batted first and scored 164 runs in 20 overs. PBKS gave a great fight to RCB but lost the match by just 6 runs.

In this IPL, again two matches were played between the teams and PBKS dominated over RCB. In the first match, RCB batted first and made a good score of 205 runs in 20 overs. But PBKS chased this target with an exceptional batting performance, they chased this target in 19 overs and won the match by 5 wickets. In the second match, Punjab Kings batted first and scored 209 runs in 20 overs. RCB could reach only 155 runs and lost the match by 44 runs. 

The hosts will come to win this match to continue their streak. It is expected that Shikhar Dhawan will return to the side and will lead his team with confidence. On the other hand, Faf was seen as a bit discomfort in the last match and he may miss this match. However, there is no official news from the management about his injury, so there is no assurance. 

The pitch of PCA IS Bindra Stadium is exceptionally well for batters, so we can expect a high-scoring encounter in this match. There is not enough to swing and turn on this wicket, so we may see more boundaries in this match. The team winning the toss could opt for the field first. Chasing on this wicket will be a wise decision because it would be easier to play as per target.

Virat Kohli could be the best batsman in this match. He has been in tremendous form in this tournament so far and would like to perform for his team. 

Sam Curran performed very well in his last match and took 3 important wickets. He would like to destroy RCB’s batting line with his accurate bowling.
