RCB Vs KKR Match Result: (KKR Won By 21 Runs)

KKR has shown a tremendous performance and beat RCB twice this season by 21 runs. It was the batting wicket of Chinnaswamy but RCB is well dependent on their top three batsmen. RCB won the toss and decided to chase the score. KKR got an amazing start from Roy and Jagadeesan, they lost their first wicket at 81 runs. Jagadeesan played a slow knock but has given good support to Roy. 

After this partnership, Nitish Rana and Venkatesh Iyer started putting runs on the scoreboard. Iyer was steady but Rana was constantly slogging RCB bowlers and brought his team in a good position. After this partnership, Rinku Singh and Russell got a role to finish the innings. Andre Russell got out on just 1 run but Rinku Singh scored some quick runs with David Wiese. 

Only Hasaranga bowled a decent spell by picking two wickets. Other bowlers remain a bit expensive in this match. Then RCB came to bat and started getting some quick runs on board. They smashed 30 runs in the first 2 overs but N. Rana brought spin into the attack and Suyash Sharma took his first wicket of the match on the second bowl of his over. 

Shahbaz Ahmed continue to struggle and Maxwell couldn’t make any impact in this match. Kohli got some support from Lomoror and they built a good partnership. Lomoror was batting nicely but V Chakravarthy took his wicket with smart bowling. Later on, Virat Kohli also threw his wicket on the bowling of Andre Russell. DK was still on the crease but the target was big and it wasn’t an easy task for him to chase it. In the end, RCB lost this match by 21 runs and KKR got 2 important points to stay alive in this tournament.

Varun Chakravarthy got the Man of the Match Award for his brilliant performance. He took three wickets in this match of Maxwell, Lomror, and Karthik. He delivered an exceptional performance again against RCB and has successfully proved his worth. 

Jason Roy remains the highest scorer in this match. He scored 56 runs off 29 balls, which consists of 4 fours and 5 sixes. His innings was very important for KKR, they got a solid start with this innings and continued their attacking mindset to keep RCB bowlers under pressure.

Varun Chakravarthy remains the highest wicket-taker of this match, he picked three crucial wickets and kept RCB batters under pressure. He stuck to his line and didn’t let RCB batters attack him.
