Gujarat Titans won the match against RR by 9 wickets and maintained their position at the top of the points table. It was a one-sided encounter where RR opted to bat first and collapsed at the score of only 118 runs. Gujarat Titans got a great start and chased this target comfortably. All it started with RR batting where Buttler got out after hitting two consecutive fours against Hardik Pandya. Saha and Gill showed temperament and placement at the same time, the score was 71 when they lose their first wicket.
It was a small score to chase but still, RR got some hope with the wicket. However, Hardik came to bat and destroy Zampa’s over where he smashed three sixes and one four. Hardik was criticized because of his slow innings in the last match but he elevate his performance and showed why he is the best all-rounder. Only Yuzvendra Chahal was the economic bowler on RR’s side and he got that wicket of Gill. Overall, GT chased this target easily in 13.5 overs and claimed two important points.
