Big Decrease In Brand Value Of Virat Kohli

2021 did not go well at all for former Indian captain Virat Kohli. With the poor performance of the Indian team losing the captaincy, the huge fans will want to forget the year. Former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli lost one-fifth of the brand value in 2021 last year. According to a report by consultancy firm Duff & Phelps, Kohli’s brand value in 2020 was Rs 1,608.61 crore, but this brand value has come down to Rs 1,411.39 crore in 2021. His brand value has dropped significantly this year. His brand value has dropped by 22 per cent.

Former captain Virat Kohli has topped the list for the fifth year in a row in terms of earnings from approval, with a brand value of $185.7 million, despite a sharp drop in brand value to Rs 200 crore. The effect of the huge bad play has been seen in its brand value. In the last two years, not a single hundred have come from the giant bat. Bollywood actor Ranbir Singh is second on the list after the former captain of the Indian cricket team.

While many Bollywood celebrities managed to make it to the top 20 celebrity brands, the list also included athletes like Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma and PV Sindhu. One of India’s most successful captains, MS Dhoni’s income has reached around Rs 482 crore. They have risen to the top-5.

Despite losing against the Punjab Kings, new captain Faf Duplessis, former captain Virat Kohli and former knight Dinesh Karthik batted in a devastating mood. With the help of this trio, RCB scored over two hundred runs on the scoreboard.

But there will be another challenge in front of Virat in this match. The Knights’ mystery in the middle overs is handling the spinners. Only 38 runs were scored from eight overs against Chennai. Narine and Varun blocked the pace in the middle overs. Virat did not have to play against good spinners in the Punjab match.
