Dinesh Karthik Will Play Against KKR Tonight, Here’s What He Said

For the last two seasons, he was at KKR. He was the captain for two and a half seasons. This time Dinesh Karthik has joined RCB instead of the team. Played well in the first match. But in the second match, they are in front of Kolkata. Karthik is excited and worried at the same time about getting the old team in front.

Speaking about his time at KKR, Karthik said, “The last four years have brought some wonderful memories to the team. I respect everyone. The CEO of the team is very close to me. Have a good personal relationship.

Honestly, I was very worried before going against KKR. Playing against the old team always feels different. I am excited and worried. You can’t express your feelings in a better way than this.”

Karthik also said that if he goes against KKR, he will talk to Varun Chakraborty separately. In his words, “If Varun gets down to bat, I will talk to him in Tamil. I miss speaking Tamil very much now. Everyone at RCB speaks Hindi or English.”

Karthik knows many weapons of the old team. RCB is dreaming of killing KKR from his information. Karthik says, “Varun and (Sunil) Narain can get everyone in trouble. So RCB wanted to know about them from me. I said what I know. But it all depends on our game on the field. But we have different plans for Andre Russell. He can do whatever he wants on his own day. We also have good bowlers. I can win if I can get the ball in the right place.”

In 2016, Kolkata Knight Riders bought him at auction and gave him the responsibility of the captain. But due to lack of success, it was removed in the middle of the next season. The team did not hold him this year. Participating in the auction. But this time, not KKR, but former KKR captain Dinesh Karthik wants to play for Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings.

Karthik has played 213 matches in IPL. He has scored 4046 runs. There are 19 fifties. So far, Karthik has played for a total of six teams in the IPL.
