KKR’s Potential Playing XI Against Kohli’s RCB

Kolkata got an easy win against Chennai Super Kings in the first match. In the second match, the opponent is Virat Kohli-Faf Duplessis led Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Despite losing their first match, the batsmen are still in form. So the Knight Riders have to play well to win against them. Will Kolkata keep the same team in the second match? Or Shreyas Iyer can make any change in the team.

Which foreigners can play in the team? Here’s the potential playing XI.

Venkatesh Iyer: Despite not scoring much in the first match, Venkatesh has been the first choice in KKR’s opening pair since last season. He can also play a big role with the ball against Bangalore.

Ajinkya Rahane: Rahane proved his worth in the first match. His 44 runs against CSK helped the team win. So he will be Venkatesh’s partner in the second match.

Shreyas Iyer: In the first match, he went down to bat at number four, but Shreyas himself said that he wants to go down to number three for Kolkata. That scene can be seen in the second match.

Nitish Rana: He was in good rhythm against Chennai. Knights will want Nitish in the same rhythm against RCB.

Sam Billings: Billings played well in the first match. His ability to score fast runs helps the team to make big runs. Billings will go down to number five against Kohli.

Sheldon Jackson: The speed with which Robin Uthappa has been stumped has led many to compare him to Dhoni. The team’s wicketkeeper Sheldon also has the ability to make big runs with the bat.

Andre Russell: The most destructive batsman in Kolkata. Once he started playing in rhythm, he woke up his opponent. The West Indies all-rounder is also effective with the ball in the death overs.

Sunil Narine: He bowled hard against Chennai. He gave only 15 runs in 4 overs. Naraine can play a big role in stopping Kohli.

Tim Southee: The New Zealand pacer can join the team. In the first match, Kolkata played with only three foreigners. Saudi seclusion is over. Shivam Mavi scored against Chennai. So there is a possibility of this experienced cricketer playing in his place.

Umesh Yadav: The hero of the first match. The new ball has earned Shreyas confidence. He will also be seen as new against Kohli.

Varun Chakraborty: He took important wickets against Chennai. He played a big role in keeping the opponent stuck in the middle over. That is what Shreyas will want from Varun against RCB too.
