The 15th season of IPL will be very special. Because this time the number of teams in the IPL will increase from 8 to 10. While Mahendra Singh Dhoni will not be seen as the captain of Chennai Super Kings for the first time.

Even Virat Kohli will not handle the RCB. Fans will enjoy the match by going to the stadium for the first time since 2019 as Corona’s cases are declining.

This time with the addition of 2 new teams Gujarat Titans and Lucknow SuperGiants in the IPL, the total number of matches has also increased from 60 to 74. So this time the IPL tournament will last for more than 2 months.

All IPL matches will be played in India this time and 25 percent of the stadium’s capacity spectators will be able to go to the stadium and watch the match.

It will also be a challenge for the pitch curator in the IPL to keep the pitch alive for 2 months, but there is a good chance of a big score in the tournament.

On the other hand, when the T20 World Cup is to be played in Australia this year, the IPL will also decide the fate of some Indian players.

Chennai Super Kings have named all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja as their captain ahead of the 2022 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The four-time champions have handed over the reins to Jadeja after Mahendra Singh Dhoni resigned as captain.

Now Jadeja has a big responsibility to carry forward the legacy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the most successful captain of this world’s most popular T20 cricket tournament.

Dhoni has been the captain of Chennai since the inception of the IPL in 2008. Under his leadership, Chennai has won four IPL titles and two Champions League trophies.

The IPL-2022 will kick off on March 26 with the match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Dhoni has previously led Chennai in 12 seasons in which he has led the team four times.

He has led Chennai in 204 matches in the IPL. Out of which the team has won 121 matches and lost 82 matches. His percentage in the IPL is 59.6 percent. Under his leadership, Chennai has won four IPL titles and two Champions League titles.

In addition, the team has reached the IPL final nine times.
